Advanced blocker logic drill

Classify blocker usefulness before you touch the river action.

Train the edge cases that matter in serious No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit study: pressure spots that become bluffing candidates, bluff-catch decisions, merged value bets, or thin extraction lines once blockers, removal, and exploit selection are all counted.

River first Prioritize capped ranges, missed draws, and leverage on the final street.
Advanced branches Pressure, bluff-catch, merge, and value extraction are all represented.

Interactive loop

Pick the blocker role, then inspect the coaching.

The drill scores your classification and explains why the spot is pressure, call-down, merge, or value work. Use the preset filters to focus on 3-bet pots, 4-bet pots, or pot-limit river geometry.

Advanced coaching

Blocker logic waits for a classification.

Answer first, then the page will explain leverage, removal, value density, and the exploit branch behind the recommendation.

Removal

The best answer should remove the hands that continue most often or block the line you want to take.

Value density

Value-heavy spots should protect thin bets instead of forcing air into a polar line.

Exploit selection

Pressure gets better when pool tendencies leave the top of range too protected or too weak.

Session history

Keep the repetition loop local.

This browser stores your current streak, best streak, and a short replay history so you can return to the same blocker thresholds without an account.

Blocker rules

Use the same lens every time.

When the spot changes, the blocker logic should still answer the same four questions.

Bluffing Use when removal cuts the strongest continues, showdown value is low, and the pool overfolds the capped branch.
Bluff-catching Use when blockers improve call quality by removing the villain's best value region or by keeping enough showdown value alive.
Merging Use when the hand has enough density to bet now and keep options open on the next node without over-polarizing the range.
Value extraction Use when the hand is already ahead of enough worse continues that blockers support a cleaner thin-value line.
Blocker strategy Review the core blocker framework before another drill run. Turn and river leverage Convert the spot into pressure timing and future-node planning. Pot-limit geometry Check how cap size and SPR reshape the blocker decision.

NL Secrets keeps the drill focused on advanced NL Hold'em and Pot Limit work: range construction, 3-bet and 4-bet pressure, SPR planning, pot-limit geometry, turn and river leverage, blocker logic, and exploit selection.
